Our first class on Wimba

Because of Spring Break, we had an optional online class on Monday night on Wimba. This was our first real try at Wimba and it was pretty cool. I took this screen shot during the class.

There were only a few of us that were able to make it, but we had a good time experimenting with Wimba and all of it's capabilities like screen sharing and the breakout rooms. We even got to see the linguine and clam sauce Julie's daughter made for dinner! 

While we worked in Wimba, we were working on the Wimba and BB worksheet Amy posted on the discussion boards. This was almost like a scavenger hunt of our BB site for our class. One of the topics was to post an image that related to your teaching/learning style on the discussion board. I had trouble coming up with one, but finally settled on this one that demonstrates my hands-on and helpful teaching style.

We have another optional Wimba session next Monday in place of class that I'm looking forward to!
